why want this printer go online so we can print on the network?
A shopper on Jul 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: this is a very vauge question that could have a lot of potential answers, but essentially you need to program it with a static IP address (DHCP wouldn't be best because the IP would eventually change). Once you program the IP, you must turn the printer off then back on before the new IP will apply. You can then program windows to print to a standard TCP/IP port using the static IP address you chose before. If you did everything right, you should be good to go.
how do I name a scan file?
darul s on Jun 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The service technician from Ricoh set up our scan. To scan we start at home and select the scanner button. This takes us to a field with different computer names. We select which computer we want the file to go to, then scan the file through the automatic feeder. When done we go to the selected computer, go to our scan files, select the scanned file and attach it to the document, file, email, etc.
how to set up the fax for confirmation sheet?
A shopper on Jun 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If you are asking how to receive the fax confirmation sheet, I think you use the following steps:

1) Go to User Tools
2) Select Fax Features
3) Hit OK
4) Select Report Print Settings
5) Hit OK
6) Select Every TX
7) Hit OK
Is this product wireless?
Dajha J on Apr 27, 2016

This specific product is not wireless; however, the next model speed up (the SP 4510SF) is. If you decide to order, make sure you add the Wireless option, as it does not come standard. I've attached the link to the page, where you can also download the brochure.

Thanks for your question!
This is a black and white printer, but the scanner specs indicate Full-color CCD array image-sensor. Does this mean that it can scan a color document but can only print it in black and white?
A shopper on Aug 28, 2015

Correct, this printer can print/copy only in black & white, but is able to scan in full color.

Can you connect to this printer wirelessly?

6000 copy per year what is the life span of the sp3500sf?
walter s on Jun 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The monthly duty cycle for the SP 3510SF is 35,000 prints (or copies) per month. You can find the specification sheet for the SP 3510SF on the Ricoh web site at
A shopper on Jun 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The SP 3510SF does not have a wireless interface nor offer it optionally. However, it will work with an external wireless server and wireless devices, like tablets and phones can print to it, using Ricoh Smart Device Print & Scan provided the devices have access to the same network as the printer (through a wireless router or wireless access point).
